On Sunday, I took Reiki I at Faerie Moone. Walking in, I only knew that Reiki was energy healing. So what is Reiki? Well Reiki itself is Universal Lifeforce Energy. This energy is essentially channelled or flowed through you. You use your hands, either laying on or just above, to flow this energy to yourself or others. This energy heals in four ways: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

I noticed, that whatever sensation I felt in my hands (warm, cold, tingling, buzzing, pulsing) the other person was feeling in their body. When we switched, it was the same thing. I felt in my body what my partner felt in his hands. There were many times I thought I was being touched, but wasn't. If you are thinking about trying Reiki, I suggest you have a session first.
